The latest developments, photos of the devastation and links to ways to help in the reconstruction of the Diocese of Haiti are now available through the Episcopal Church Facebook Page. http://www.facebook.com/episcopalian#

“The Episcopal Church Facebook Page has more than 45,000 daily views, and over 24,000 friends,” noted Anne Rudig, Episcopal Church director of communication. “With these numbers (that continue to grow each day), we can reach thousands through Facebook with the news about Haiti.”

A new tab at the top of the page, Help Haiti, opens into a window of photos, info and links to the latest news on the Diocese of Haiti recovery. http://www.episcopalchurch.org/haiti.php

There is also a link to an appeal for rebuilding the Episcopal Church in Haiti http://www.episcopalchurch.org/haitiappeal/

The Diocese of Haiti is the fastest growing in the Episcopal Church. The January 2010 earthquake leveled the churches and diocesan facilities, including Holy Trinity Cathedral in the capital city of Port-au-Prince. Also lost in the destruction of the Cathedral site were Holy Trinity Music School, Holy Trinity Professional School, and the primary and secondary schools.

The Episcopal Church welcomes all who worship Jesus Christ in 109 dioceses and three regional areas in 16 nations. The Episcopal Church is a member province of the worldwide Anglican Communion.
