Episcopal Church Office of Communication presents musical offering of Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb from NYC’s Grace Episcopal Church

A choral evensong featuring the world famous Rejoice in the Lamb presented by the Choir of Men and Boys of Grace Episcopal Church in New York City is now available as part of the ongoing multimedia offerings produced by the Office of Communication: www.episcopalchurch.org

The hour-long program of Benjamin Britten"s music was taped at Grace"s October 17 Evensong, under the direction of Patrick Allen, organist and master of choristers.


The Grace Church Choir of Men and Boys was established in 1894, the oldest resident Boy Choir in continuous service in New York City. The Girls" Choir for young ladies was established as part of the celebrations surrounding the Centennial of The Choir of Men and Boys in 1994.
