December 13, 2010

The Episcopal Church Office of Communication multimedia offerings is presenting sounds of the season by the renowned Treble Choristers of the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys in New York City.

The video, featuring the boys of Saint Thomas Church choir led by Music Director John Scott singing favorite carols and musical selections in front of world-famous Tiffany and Co. on Fifth Avenue, is available here: www.episcopalchurch.org.

"We know that sharing the music and worship with the wider church adds to everyone"s Advent experiences," Mike Collins, director of digital media explained. "The performance by the boy choristers of Saint Thomas choir is a true showing of what Christmas is all about."

The Saint Thomas Choir School is the only church-related boarding choir school in the United States and one of only two such schools remaining in the world (the other is at Westminster Abbey).

The Episcopal Church welcomes all who worship Jesus Christ in 109 dioceses and three regional areas in 16 nations. The Episcopal Church is a member province of the worldwide Anglican Communion.
