Now posted on the Finance pages of the Episcopal Church is the report Diocesan Commitments and Payments 2011 and 2012.

According to Episcopal Church Treasurer Kurt Barnes, this report is posted and maintained, with periodic updates, on the website.

“The Episcopal Church as a whole is very grateful for the faithfulness of dioceses who honor their commitments to our community, even when immediate concerns prevent them from doing so as quickly as they would like,” noted Bishop Stacy Sauls,  Episcopal Church Chief Operating Officer. “All of us are grateful for their example.”

Included in the report is the commitment of some dioceses to meet their full pledges at 19% for 2011.

Among the notes in the document are:

  • The Diocese of Los Angeles has advised that its pledge will be paid subsequent to conclusion of property cases.
  • The Diocese of Arizona has agreed to a payoff over time.

Also noted are contributions, ranging from $25 to $175,246 which were received from parishes and/or individuals in 14 dioceses across the United States.

Barnes noted that this report is one of many posted on the Finance Office website here: http://www.episcopalchurch.org/finance
