Faith in Urdu & Punjabi: A Thriving Pakistani Congregation

Saint Thomas Pakistani Church, Diocese of Albany

“St. Thomas Episcopal Church is a vibrant congregation worshipping in our native languages, Urdu and Punjabi.  It is amazing to see children and youth singing and praising the Lord in their native language.  As most of you know that Christians in Pakistan are persecuted because of our faith. There is no religious freedom. We bring appreciation and gratitude of the fact that we can freely and openly practice our faith. Congregations like us also bring acceptance among other people in the Diocese of Albany.” – The Rev. Nadeem Sadiq
