In our everyday lives most people don’t use the term “ingather” very often, but we will gather in many different ways. This is harvest season, when farmers are busy harvesting, or gathering in, their crops, and the backyard gardeners are finishing bringing their harvest in, and preparing their yards for winter. This is also a time when we tend to gather in family groups to celebrate the holidays. In reality, “ingather” and “gather” are pretty much the same.
In UTO, the Ingathering is the collecting of funds given in thanksgiving for the blessings God has given us in our lives. As we are nearing the end of 2025, it is time to make sure all Ingathering collections get sent in to UTO, as the money collected this year funds the grants that will be awarded in the spring of 2026.
If you would like your financial contribution to count for the 2025 calendar year, please make sure to postmark all funds by Dec. 12, 2025. You can give online through the end of the year. Please remember to follow all financial practices and guidelines when handling donations. Your contributions directly support the 2026 grant cycle. Thank you for your support!
