Mark your calendars now for our March 17 webinar on mental health and gratitude. Both the COVID pandemic and the continuing state of the world have pushed anxiety, depression, and burnout to concerning levels. In this webinar our panel of talented spiritual health practitioners will discuss these mental health issues and the role gratitude can play in preventing and dealing with them.

Sarah Ciavarri is a Lutheran pastor who serves as the vice president for spiritual life for a senior health care facility, a Professional Certified Coach, and the founder of Level Up Leadership where she works with folks (like UTO) on all sorts of things from Dare to Lead to systems work. She speaks frequently on resilience, burnout prevention, and crafting a life you love in leadership and has written a fantastic book called “Finding Our Way to the Truth.”

Marta Illueca is a UTO grant recipient, doctor, priest, and researcher on spiritual wellness and healing with a focus on prayer and chronic pain. Her research was recently published on the use of prayer as a method for managing chronic pain along with a second piece that creates a definition of spiritual pain for health workers.

Erin Jean Warde is an Episcopal priest, spiritual director, and recovery coach working specifically in the area of sobriety. Her Discerning Sobriety course aims to bring mindfulness into participants’ relationship with alcohol, and her Gather the Inklings community offers “inspiration, contemplation, and practical support in your inbox.” Erin Jean’s book “Sober Spirituality” was recently released.I will be acting as moderator for the webinar while Heather Melton and Isabelle Watkins handle the technical operations and support those of you joining us via the chat. I’m sure this Zoom discussion will be sensitive, lively, and inspiring, so put this on your calendar and register here.
