Make an offering for each blessing

Gratitude here isn’t a one-time response but a daily offering made for the small things, like sun on your face, and the deep things, like a spouse, a job change, a hard season survived. It doesn’t wait for crisis to show up; prayer and practice keep it present every day, connecting people to what God has already done and to what God will still do.

That connection moves outward as much as inward. To be grateful is to feel close to God as a way-maker, to find a heart “bursting forth with gladness” at how much has been given—and how much there is to give. Breath, life, grace: each becomes something to offer back, binding people to God and to one another at once.
