The standing committees and bishops exercising jurisdiction have given the required majority of consents to the Episcopal Diocese of Hawaii for its May 16 election of the Rev. Elizabeth “Libby” Berman as bishop. Her consecration and ordination service is scheduled for Nov. 14.

The Rt. Rev. Jennifer Baskerville-Burrows elected vice president of House of Bishops
The Rt. Rev. Jennifer Baskerville Burrows, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis, was elected June 28 to serve as the vice president of the House of Bishops of The Episcopal Church. The election took place on the final day of the church’s 81st General Convention, taking place in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe, bishop of the Episcopal Dioceses of Northwestern Pennsylvania and Western New York, was elected and confirmed the 28th presiding bishop and primate of The Episcopal Church on June 26 for a nine-year term beginning Nov. 1.

Title IV update on bishop of Wyoming
The Rt. Rev. Mary Gray-Reeves, acting in her role as presiding bishop-designate for some Title IV matters, announced today that she and the Rt. Rev. Paul-Gordon Chandler, bishop of the Episcopal Church in Wyoming, have entered an accord resolving the Title IV charges against him. The Disciplinary Board for Bishops has approved this accord as required by church canons.
