Our website contains a great deal of information on what we believe, how we worship, our history, and what kind of Christians we are. While we do not have a position on every topic, we believe civic engagement is an important part of how we live out our faith, and we have some key advocacy areas that we are committed to as a church.

We are glad you are exploring your faith, and we encourage you to reach out to Episcopal clergy in your local area to connect.

Baptismal and marriage records are held locally in The Episcopal Church, and you should reach out to the local church or diocese where the baptism or marriage took place. We do not hold these records at the denominational level.

Church Pension Group holds all records of Episcopal clergy, and if you cannot find them by searching by church or diocese, you may find information on the CPG Clergy Finder.

On episcopalcommonprayer.org, you will find a list of liturgical resources authorized by The Episcopal Church, answers to FAQs about liturgical resources, and liturgy-related links.

Title IV of The Episcopal Church’s canons, or governing rules, sets out standards of conduct for all ordained people in the church and provides a process for addressing allegations of misconduct. Learn more here.

Depending on the nature of your project, you may need to fill out a records request with The Episcopal Church Archives, or you may need to contact the relevant local diocese for their archival records.
