The Rev. Winnie Varghese, Rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Atlanta, Georgia

A national leader in the Episcopal Church, the Rev. Winnie Varghese is known for her inspired writing, teaching, and preaching. Before becoming the 23rd rector of St. Luke’s, she served as Priest for Ministry and Program Coordination at Trinity Church Wall Street in New York City. Prior to Trinity, Winnie served as Rector and Priest-in-Charge at St. Mark’s in the Bowery in New York. Winnie was also Chaplain at both Columbia University and University of California Los Angeles. Winnie serves on the Board of Trustees of Union Theological Seminary, she chaired the General Convention’s Committee on the State of the Church from 2015 to 2018, and she served on the Board of Trustees of the Episcopal Divinity School, 2013-2016. She is also a published author, editor, and podcaster. Winnie attended Union Theological Seminary and graduated with her Master of Divinity degree in 1999. She was ordained to the deaconate in Los Angeles in 1999 and to the priesthood six months later in 2000.

The Most Rev. Michael Bruce Curry, Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church

The Most Rev. Michael Bruce Curry is Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church. He is the Chief Pastor and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer, and as Chair of the Executive Council of The Episcopal Church. Presiding Bishop Curry was installed as the 27th Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church on November 1, 2015. He was elected to a nine-year term and confirmed at the 78th General Convention of The Episcopal Church in Salt Lake City, UT, on June 27, 2015.

The Rev. Cn. C. K. Robertson, Ph.D., Canon for Ministry Beyond The Episcopal Church

The Rev. Canon C. K. Robertson, Ph.D. is Canon to the Presiding Bishop for Ministry Beyond The Episcopal Church, as well as a Distinguished Visiting Professor at General Theological Seminary. A member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the North American board of Durham University, Chuck has served on the governing board of the National Council of Churches USA, and was vice president of the board of the Anglican Theological Review and guest editor of several ATR issues, as well as General Editor of Peter Lang Publishing’s “Studies in Episcopal & Anglican Theology” series. He has authored or edited over a dozen books and many journal articles.

The Rev. Cn. Stephanie Spellers, Canon for Evangelism, Reconciliation and Stewardship of Creation

The Rev. Canon Stephanie Spellers, the Presiding Bishop’s Canon for Evangelism, Reconciliation and Creation. The author of Radical Welcome: Embracing God, The Other and the Spirit of Transformation – as well as The Episcopal Way and Companions on the Episcopal Way (with Eric Law) – she has directed mission and evangelism work at General Theological Seminary and as a canon in the Diocese of Long Island; founded The Crossing, a ground-breaking church within St. Paul’s Cathedral in Boston and led numerous church-wide renewal efforts. A native of Frankfort, Kentucky, and a graduate of both Episcopal Divinity School and Harvard Divinity School, she makes her home today in New York’s Harlem neighborhood.

The Rev. Cn. E. Mark Stevenson, Canon for Ministry Within the Episcopal Church

Mark served as the director of Episcopal Migration Ministries, the refugee resettlement program of the Episcopal Church. Before that, Stevenson served as rector of the Church of the Annunciation in New Orleans (Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana) and the Church of the Good Shepherd in Maitland, Florida (Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida). o Stevenson serves on the board of The Living Church Foundation and also served as a member of the Episcopal Relief & Development board. In addition, he served as a deputy to the 2012 General Convention and an alternate at the 2009 General Convention.
