Festival Thursdays Webinar: “Faith Over Fear Training: Countering Anti-Muslim Discrimination with the Shoulder-to-Shoulder Campaign”

The Shoulder-to-Shoulder Campaign is a national, multifaith coalition of religious denominations and faith-based organizations who are committed to ending anti-Muslim hatred, discrimination, and violence in the United States of America. This “Faith Over Fear: Countering Anti-Muslim Discrimination” webinar is designed for faith and community leaders who wish to more effectively and strategically address and prevent anti-Muslim discrimination in their communities. Participants will be offered a brief exploration of the complex issue of Islamophobia and anti-Muslim discrimination in the United States, along with facts and data about the American Muslim community, and they will leave with practical messaging and communications tools, and concrete ideas including engagement tactics to make change on this issue. The Shoulder-to-Shoulder Campaign has been offering this training since 2018 and has worked with a wide range of audiences including The Episcopal Church.
