An Episcopal Dictionary of the Church

Liturgical Studies

Collections of essays issued from time to time under the direction of the Standing Liturgical Commission. Liturgical Studies are designed to help the commission carry out its canonical mandate “to collect and collate material bearing upon further revisions of The Book of Common Prayer.” The first two studies were edited by Ruth A. Meyers. Liturgical Studies One is entitled Baptism and Ministry (1994), and Liturgical Studies Two is entitled How Shall We Pray? Expanding Our Language about God (1994).
