Field Days: Food, Faith, Service – An Immersive Agrarian Ministry Experience, Dec. 7-8, 2022

Hosted by Good News Gardens and Camp Stevens

The Bible and Jesus’ teachings are full of agrarian stories, metaphors, and parables. In the beginning, God created a garden; He created humankind to tend and care for it. Thousands of years later, Jesus himself told agrarian stories, stories that had to do with fig trees, seeds, soil, birds, bread, and abundance. As Episcopalians, our baptismal covenant calls us to continue to gather together, to proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ, and to seek Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves and striving for justice and peace among all people, respecting the dignity of every human being (and certainly all of creation).
