Becoming Beloved Community Grants
These grants are funded by the General Convention budget and are designed to support projects that seek to create sustainable, systemic change in truth-telling; sharing the dream of Beloved Community; practicing healing and reconciliation; and repairing the breach in institutions and society.
Since 2019, approximately 120 projects have received Becoming Beloved Community grants totaling more than $1 million.

The Episcopal Church’s Becoming Beloved Community grants build capacity in the Church to do the work of racial healing, reconciliation, and justice. The grants may be used for work in these primary fields:
– Telling the truth about our churches and race
– Proclaiming the dream of Beloved Community
– Practicing Jesus’ way of healing and reconciliation
– Repairing the breach in institutions and society
