Youth Leadership Academy (YLA)

A 4-day retreat for High School students (Grades 10-12)

Have you ever dreamt about making a real difference in the world around you? Do you feel like you are a leader and want to lead but don’t know where to start? Now is your chance!

Why is this different from so many other youth leadership trainings? We will focus our work on what it means to be a Christian leader in the world today.

Mature and responsible high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors will be invited to apply to attend the Youth Leadership Academy (YLA). Participants will learn skills to equip them for community organizing, identity development, racial healing, peer coaching, praying, spiritual disciplines, and so much more!

This is a great opportunity for any interested youth to develop their leadership skills, a heart for serving, and a sense of calling–all while building a strong resume for work or college.

YLA is ideal for youth that exhibit an ability to listen, lead and pastor to others. Attendees will meet youth from dioceses across the country!

Highlights of the YLA experience: great food, music, worship, new friendships, leadership workshops, games & contests, powerful conversations, mentors, praying, laughing and FUN!

The YLA is being transformed into a virtual experience…more information coming soon!
