Episcopal Church Office of Communication offers live concert webcast from St. John's, Lafayette Square, Washington DC

The Episcopal Church Office of Communication continues offering a live webcast of musical selections from the First Wednesdays At St. John’s Concerts series originating from St. John’s Church, Lafayette Square, in Washington, DC (Diocese of Washington). The next live concert is on Wednesday, May 4 and begins at 12:10 pm Eastern (11:10 am Central, 10:10 am Mountain, 9:10 am Pacific, 8:10 am Alaska, 7:10 am Hawaii).

The 35-minute concert is “Stained Glass Windows,” featuring selections from Petr Eben’s Windows after Marc Chagall, and other works. Featured musician is Mary Bowden, trumpet.

The live webcast will be available here: http://episcopalchurch.org/live/dc/ , on the home page of the Episcopal Church’s website, www.episcopalchurch.org, and on the Episcopal Church Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/episcopalian. The concert will also be available on-demand following the live performance.
