A new musical video, featuring seasonal music is now available on the website of the Episcopal Church Office of Communication here http://www.episcopalchurch.org/page/multimedia.

Originating from St. John’s Church, Lafayette Square, in Washington, DC (Diocese of Washington), the event was recorded on December 5 and features the St. Albans & National Cathedral Schools Madrigal Singers.

In addition to holiday favorites, other musical selections include international seasonal selections by composers from Canada, Cuba, and Russia.  Under the direction of Benjamin Hutto, the “Mads” have toured five continents from South Africa to San Francisco, most recently last summer to South America where they performed for over 10,000 people.

"We have been lucky enough to partner with St. John's Lafayette Square and Ben Hutto to bring their music ministry to the wider church,” commented Mike Collins, Episcopal Church Manager of Multimedia Services. “What better way to celebrate the start of the Advent season than with a concert from the Madrigal Singers?"

The music video is available on the multimedia page of the Episcopal Church’s website, http://www.episcopalchurch.org/page/multimedia and on the Episcopal Church Facebook page.

This program is another in an ongoing series of musical offerings, worship and mission documentaries produced by the Office of Communication.
