To address episodic hunger, Church of the Heavenly Rest has developed shelf-stable, ready-to-cook, simple-to-prepare, non-perishable meal kits. Our Grace-To-Go boxes give those in need an option when food pantries are not open and other hunger coping strategies have been exhausted. We prepared, packed, and delivered nearly 1,000 meals at a parish-wide event last fall and plan to continue to measure, pack, and distribute meal kits on monthly service days.
