‘Love God, Love God’s World’

“Love God, Love God’s World” is a nine-session, film- and readings-based curriculum for Episcopalians—from newcomers to small-group leaders—interested in learning more about creation care and environmental ministry. Each session contains faith-based reflections by different authors and discussion questions. View a sample session here.

We hope participants will learn how to speak more comfortably about their faith, care of creation, and climate change; learn where to find resources; and find ways to engage in ecojustice efforts.

How to use the curriculum

If you offer Christian formation programs at your church, “Love God, Love God’s World” could be your next offering. If your congregation already has an ecojustice or creation-care-related ministry, this curriculum could help enhance that existing work. If you are hoping to start such a ministry, forming a small group to study “Love God, Love God’s World” could be a good way to spark discussion and interest.

Getting started

You do not need to be an expert on climate change or ecojustice—or have group leadership experience—to gather six to 12 people to start studying “Love God, Love God’s World.” Learn about creating and hosting a small group.
