Healing from internalized oppression
This workshop invites participants to examine the internalized effects of racism and oppression within Black communities and their impact on identity, belonging, and communal life. Through conversation, reflections, and shared experience, we explore how these dynamics have been carried across generations and within the church. The workshop will also offer space to name resilience, affirm dignity, and consider pathways toward healing and wholeness.
U.S. Virgin Islands supply clergy
The Episcopal Diocese of the Virgin Islands, in partnership with The Episcopal Church through the Office of African Descent Ministries, has embarked on a collaborative program to provide supply clergy support to some of its parishes and missions in the Virgin Islands. There are seven congregations in the program that are located on four islands.
Recurring events
Recurring events include the Seminarians of Color conference, an annual event for networking and learning, Nuevo Amanecer, a biennial conference celebrating Latino Episcopal ministries, and Winter Talk, an annual conference for Indigenous Episcopalians and those in Indigenous ministry.
