Evangelism 101 Toolkit
Originally designed as a one- to five-hour workshop, the Evangelism 101 toolkit includes participant and leader guides, handouts, and exercises designed to introduce Episcopalians to what it means to share the Good News with others through our stories and hospitality, by seeking, listening, naming, and celebrating Jesus’ presence in the lives of all people..
“Evangelism … is about sharing the journey into a deeper relationship with God and with each other, and not about us controlling the end result,” said the Rt. Rev. Michael Curry, who served as presiding bishop when the toolkit was launched. “It’s not increasing our market share, and it’s not just propping up the institution. If we believe the relationship with a living God does matter, and that loving relationship with each other matters, then evangelism and anything that helps us to come closer as human children of God matters.”
