As the 11^th Assembly of the World Council of Churches approaches, Churches Beyond Borders—consisting of The Episcopal Church, Anglican Church of Canada, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Canada—has planned an assembly workshop entitled “Churches Beyond Borders: Healing from the Legacy of the Doctrine of Discovery.”

This workshop is the latest project in Churches Beyond Borders’ initiatives toward healing from the legacy of the Doctrine of Discovery in North America.

The 11th Assembly of the World Council of Churches will take place in Karlsruhe, Germany, from Aug. 31 to Sept. 8, under the theme “Christ’s love moves the world to reconciliation and unity.”
