Worship and prayer form our backbone as a church. The Episcopal Church offers numerous resources to aid and enhance these elements of our common experience.
Lectionary
Find the comprehensive three-year lectionary that includes Sunday and feast day readings, printable lections, social media graphics, and links to sermons and Bible studies.
Liturgical resources
Find all liturgies authorized for use in The Episcopal Church on this website maintained by the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music. These include trial-use and alternative liturgies, links to the six-part Enriching Our Worship, the Book of Occasional Services, alternate Psalters, and more.
Sermons That Work
Find free sermons, Bible studies, and lesson plans—used by lay and clergy leaders in a variety of congregational settings—for each Sunday of the lectionary cycle. Exciting changes are underway as The Episcopal Church partners with Forward Movement to tailor and develop resources for the wider church.
Prayers
Find weekly prayers related to our public policy and witness as a church, as well as a yearlong cycle of weekly prayers for members of the military, their families, and chaplains serving in the U.S. armed forces and federal ministries. We encourage sharing these prayers in your services, church bulletins, and social media as appropriate.

Seasonal resources
Find links to churchwide resources specific to or occurring during the seasons of the liturgical year, from Advent through the Season after Pentecost.
