What does The Episcopal Church say about civic engagement?
Civic engagement is a key way we live out our faith. We are called to love our neighbors as ourselves, and we recognize that we exercise our faith in the context of relationships, communities, and society. As part of that, The Episcopal Church has long supported nonpartisan voter engagement, as well as advocating for protection and accessibility for all eligible voters. We view this work as an act of Christian stewardship.
