Humanizing the Gospel in Our Public Witness (A Conversation between Bishops)
Oct. 15, 2025 12:00 p.m. EDT
Watch here | Ver aquí

Join this storytelling webinar hosted by the church’s Office of Global Partnerships to learn through the experience of two bishops, continents apart, who find common connection to one another through the Gospel work of the church in the world.

Bishop Rose Okeno of the Anglican Diocese of Butere, Kenya, and Bishop Joseph Tharakan of the Episcopal Diocese of Idaho began their relationship at the 2022 Lambeth Conference and found the experience of growing global connections one that continues opening hearts towards growing generosity, compassion, and care for one another.

Humanizing the gospel is about lived transformative experiences that demonstrate how God is at work among God’s people, including through the work of public witness. The good news of Jesus Christ presents a vision of a better world, a framework for guiding our hearts, minds, and feet in growing generosity, compassion and care for one another and creation.
