Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop Michael Curry sent a letter to President Joe Biden today urging ceasefire and other actions as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits the U.S. In addition to mentioning recent attacks against al Ahli Arab Hospital, a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem, the letter highlights four resolutions (D007, D009, D012, and D056) passed by the 81st General Convention related to Israel and Palestine.

Diocese of Olympia notified of successful canonical consent process for next bishop

The Episcopal Diocese of Olympia has received notification from the Presiding Bishop’s Office that Bishop-elect Philip N. LaBelle has received the required majority of consents in the canonical consent process detailed in Canon III.11.3. The consents received have been certified by the Rev.
