Christina Bouri hired as Middle East fellow for The Episcopal Church
Christina Bouri has been named Middle East fellow for The Episcopal Church, where she will lead advocacy efforts for the church and serve as a liaison between the church and the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem & the Middle East. Bouri will work in the Office of Government Relations as part of the public policy, partnership, and witness team.
Applications open for Episcopal Church 2026–2027 educational scholarships
Applications are being accepted for a variety of educational scholarships from The Episcopal Church for the 2026–2027 academic year. The deadline to apply online is Friday, May 15. All applicants must be Episcopalian.

Dear people of God: Grace and peace to you in Jesus Christ our Lord…The bishops of The Episcopal Church gathered from March 17-24 at Camp Allen Conference Center in Navasota, Texas. Our gathering included 122 bishops and bishops-elect, representing 89 dioceses and special ministries across 17 countries and territories. As we conclude our meeting, we give thanks for the mutual affection and fruitful collaboration we experience during our time together, and we renew our commitment to bear witness with clarity and unity to the transforming power of the Gospel.

Nominations to fill Executive Council vacancy accepted till April 10
The Episcopal Church Executive Council is accepting nominations for a lay member to fill an unexpired three-year term that became vacant when Heidi Kim resigned from the council on Jan. 30 to become executive director of the Episcopal Coalition for Racial Equity and Justice.
Episcopalians offer responses to Anglican standing commission’s ‘Nairobi-Cairo Proposals’
Nearly a year in the crafting, a new collection of essays and reflections by Episcopalians includes diverse responses to proposed changes in the Anglican Communion’s governance structure. “The Nairobi-Cairo Proposals: Voices in Response from The Episcopal Church” is intended to stimulate discussion and help prepare church representatives, known as Anglican Consultative Council members, for the group’s next meeting in June.
