The Episcopal Church Office of Asiamerica Ministries seeks volunteers for a search committee to help define the position of and interview candidates for the next Asiamerica missioner, as well as cast a vision for the office. The new missioner will replace the Rev. Winfred Vergara, who will retire Dec. 31 after serving 18 years in that role.

All Asian American Episcopalians—laity and clergy—are encouraged to consider applying, as well as to offer ministry input through a survey. Survey responses will be used to formulate a vision for the office and the missioner position. The survey deadline is Dec. 31. Fill out survey online.
