2025 Grants Featured on Bulletin Inserts
From the Initial Grant Reports
One of the best ways to help folks understand the impact of their gift to UTO is to share the stories of where the funds go around the globe. Each year, UTO creates a bulletin insert in English and Spanish that features a grant site in The Episcopal Church and one in the Anglican Communion. This year, we’re featuring the Diocese of Gitega in the Province of Burundi and the Episcopal Diocese of Western Louisiana. Both of these projects bring free, clean water to those who need it. The bulletin inserts features information from each grant site, including photos and these quotes. You can download yours here in English or Spanish.

We are most grateful to God for receiving this grant as it enables to preach the Gospel by words and actions. It is an opportunity for us to express Jesus’ love by addressing one of the needs of our community. It is a great occasion for our diocese to also participate in preserving and caring for God’s creation. Diocese of Gitega, Burundi
What are you most grateful for about receiving this grant?
We are most grateful because water is the foundation of life together. This grant is not just funding—it is hope. It enables us to begin this vital project, while also positioning us to seek additional support so that we can keep providing clean water for as long as it takes for the city to restore its broken system. For now, and for the future, this gift helps us meet the most basic and essential human need: water. Episcopal Diocese of Western Louisiana
