Oneida Nation to host Native voices during Winter Talk
The Episcopal Church Office of Indigenous Ministries invites all Episcopalians to watch a livestream of Winter Talk 2022, an annual multiday conference that honors and highlights Indigenous and Native American traditions and contributions within the church. The event will be hosted for the first time by the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin.
Diocese of Upper South Carolina notified of successful canonical consent process
The Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina has received notification from Presiding Bishop and Primate Michael B. Curry that Bishop-elect Daniel P. Richards has received the required majority of consents in the canonical consent process detailed in Canon III.11.3. The consents received have been certified by the Rev. Canon Michael Barlowe, Registrar of the General Convention.

Presiding Bishop Michael Curry responds to verdict in Ahmaud Arbery case
While nothing will return Ahmaud Arbery to his loved ones, our justice system has held three men accountable for hunting down and killing a Black man who did nothing but go for a run in a predominately white neighborhood, and I give thanks for this outcome. My prayers are with Arbery’s family as they continue to grieve his loss.
