Diocese of Iowa notified of successful canonical consent process
The Episcopal Diocese of Iowa has received notification from Presiding Bishop and Primate Michael B. Curry that Bishop-elect Betsey Monnot has received the required majority of consents in the canonical consent process detailed in Canon III.11.3. The consents received have been certified by the Rev. Canon Michael Barlowe, Registrar of the General Convention.

Registration for exhibit space at the 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church is now open to all organizations and vendors. This triennial event is scheduled for July 7–14, 2022, at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Space is limited, and over half of the floorplan has been reserved.
Episcopal Church, Philippine Independent Church to celebrate 60th anniversary of full communion
Celebrating six decades of commitment as full communion partners, The Episcopal Church and the Iglesia Filipina Independiente—also known as the Philippine Independent Church—will host a webinar Sept. 15 featuring multiple church leaders. The celebration will continue in October with a service of thanksgiving and evening prayer.

More than 120 bishops and 483 deputies will serve on legislative committees at the 80th General Convention, Presiding Bishop Michael Curry and House of Deputies President Gay Clark Jennings announced today. The triennial meeting, originally planned for 2021, is now scheduled to take place in Baltimore July 7-14, 2022.
