ONE EPISCOPALIAN UPDATE
The ONE Campaign has invited us to participate in an exciting conference call next Friday, June 7.

The Last Hunger Season charts the course of a new exodus, one occurring in smallholder farmers all over the world. It isn't an exodus from one place to another — it is an exodus of the spirit. It is an exodus from a life of misery, to a life of plenty. And although these farmers don't have manna from heaven to sustain them, they persevere through prayer and a hope rooted in unshakeable faith.

Roger Thurow, journalist, author, and advocate, spent a year living with these smallholder farmers in rural Kenya, documenting both the challenges and successes of their daily lives.

Whether you are a dedicated Faith@ONE volunteer, or just learning about the absurdity of extreme poverty, we'd like to thank you with the chance to speak to Roger on a special conference call Friday June 7th, at 2 p.m. Eastern Standard/11 a.m. Pacific.

In order to join the call, and get a free study guide for The Last Hunger Season from ONE, please RSVP here.
