Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop Michael Curry was admitted to the hospital this past Thursday night, Aug. 17, with a reoccurrence of the internal bleeding that required him to be hospitalized over Memorial Day Weekend.

Episcopal Church receives $1.25 million grant for faith formation work with children and families
The Episcopal Church has been awarded a $1.25 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to help establish “The Camino Project: Faith-Forward Pathways for Episcopal Families,” a five-year initiative aimed at helping parents and congregations embrace raising faith-filled children, especially in nontraditional, non-dominant-culture families. The Episcopal Church Department of Faith Formation will lead the effort.
