Episcopal Asiamerica Ministries 40th Anniversary and Churchwide Consultation

Episcopal Asiamerica Ministries (EAM) will celebrate its 40th Anniversary and Churchwide Consultation on June 20-24, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency, San Francisco Airport (Burlingame). The theme of the Consultation is "EAM@40: Remember, Celebrate & Re-Envision".

This event will feature a 1st EAM Invitational Golf Tournament to raise funds for the EAM Council (EAMC), a 501(c) organization in partnership with the Asiamerica Ministries Office of the Episcopal Church, and the Partnership Office for Asia and the Pacific.

Speakers will include clergy and lay leaders remembering those who prioneered EAM, and celebrating the Mission Today. Youth and young adults will discuss "Re-envisioning the Future Thrust of Asiamerica Ministries." The Rev. Gay Jennings, President of the House of Deputies, will address the multicultural banquet in San Francisco Chinatown. The Presiding Bishop, the Most Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, will preach at the closing Eucharist to be held June 23 at 3:00pm at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.
